My knees are retaining fluid

Dear Dr. Asa Lev-El. In response to your reply from the 17th January, all my blood tests are normal. It seems that the only thing to do now is to go for an athroscopy. Would you recommend to have a SPECT before that? Can I have a local anasthetic for an athroscopy? What is the duration of the operation? Also, what is the success rate? Waiting anxiously to hear from you. Toda Raba for all your help and direction Dr. Edna.
Dear Edna I don't think that SPECT will bring spectacular news since U do havre osteoarthtitic changes which will, for sure be desplayed by this test anyhow. Yes it is a common 20practice to do Arthroscopy under local anasthesia . Regular arthroscopy shoud take some twenty to thirty minutes . It is difficult to speake about the sucsees rate: if U do not decide what is the purpose of the procedure. I f U do it for diagnostic purpose one may urge that no new finding is a failure yet if it does contribute to the overall management of the case ( thechnicaly speaking ) than in is a success Any how GOOOOOOOd luck A.Lev-El
