i would like to inform that after several talkes with colegues, family specialists, i have found out a rather disturbing fact some family members which treat diabetec patients with ace inhibitors for values which are not too high, 145/85 but give it as a drug to keep vtarget organs in tact and to preserve them better , gave the ace inhibitors at low doses such as 1 mg or 1.25 mg how ever after checking all the EBM possible, reaserches for keeping the vital organs on type 2 diabetec patients are good only in high dosses such as 5 mg there is no mention that 1.25 or 1 mg of ace inhibitors can help keep vital organs at those doses family specilists and gp's please take better care before prescribing!!!!

Hi ACE inhubitors in relativly low xdosage are reccomended for type 2 diabetics who show evidence of microalbumin or protein in their 24h urine collection' but at the same time have relativly low BP levels (such as 110/70) In these situation - they might benefit from minuimal dosage of ACE inhibitors' which will affect the protein in the urine with out causing very low BP.
