Cervical spine

I would like to get your educated advice concerning the symptoms which I have been experiencing for the past 4 months. Four months ago I was hospitalised after experiencing symptoms of numbness in the left side of the body (leg, hand AND face) with a suspicion that I was experiencing a mild stroke. However, blood tests, neurological tests, AND CTs of the brain AND the blood vessels in the neck AND brain did not find any pathology. Subsequently, I was referred to a CT of the cervical spine which found light to moderate pressure in C5-C6 region AND light pressure in C6-C7. The symptoms which I've been experiencing following the initial episode until now includes transient numbness AND tingling particularly in the right side of the face. Strong persistent neck pain particularly in the region between the skull AND the spine. occasionally tremors along the left arm AND leg. Occasional burning sensations particularly along the lower parts of the legs. Occasional pain along the lower legs. I was also referred to MRI scans of the brain AND cervical spine to dismiss possibility of other diseases such as MS. The brain scan found no pathology whilst the cervical spine MRI findings were similar to the CT with one exception. It also found slight narrowing of the cervical spine canal. I have to see next month the neurologist again (Prof. Wirguin) from Soroka Hospital. However, I am not sure that the symptoms relate to a neurological disorder. The symptoms are quite debilitating to a level that makes me uncertain about being able to work normally. My postdoc studies were extended to the end of April due to this illness but after that I am not sure that I will be able to perform well in a new position. Please advise.
your work up sounds quite thorough however the findings according to your report (remember that I have not seen any of them is quite unimpressive - having said that - I can tell you that symptoms such as yours may definitely arise from a cervical ford comp[ression OR even just irritation by a bulging disc but it is fairly difficult to prove it AND such a consequence can be drawn mainly by elimination of other possibilities. Still if all comes up more OR less normanl AND the only positive dfinding is in the C-Spine then treatment may need to focus on that - being chiropraxis AND if this does not help maybe even coblation OR formal surgery - these are just options AND due to the unclear situation I would definitely recomend to prusue first all conservative options before opting to surgical treamtents N.
