SHBG Hormone

Hello, I’m 29 years old and I stopped taking contraceptive pills 5 months ago in order to conceive. Since then I still didn’t get my period. As part of hormonal tests, my doctor (UK) checked the: Sex Hormone Binding Globulin SHBG. My doctor expected to find it to be low, but mine was actually very high. Also the Prolactin level was a bit higher. The rest of the blood test was pretty much normal. SHBG – 180 UK Range: 13-71 Prolactin – 394 UK Range: <360 I would like to know what it means when the SHBG is higher, as all the information I could find was for low SHBG.
