דיון מתוך פורום אנדוקרינולוגיה והפרעות בגדילה בקרב ילדים
Hello I have been recently diagnosed as hypothroid due to blood test results showing FT4 1.7 At the same time my CK result was 1428. I felt very unwell for a few weeks and since I started 100 McG perday of Eltroxin I have felt better. Now I have had Thyroglobulin tests and results are as follows: Thyroid PeroxidaseAb 1000-גדול מ החל מ9.09.02- שונתה השיטה נא לשים לב לשינוי בערכי Thyroglobulin Ab 124 Thyroglobulin TM חיובי. לא ניתן לדווח תוצאה מספרית בגלל נוכחות נוגדנים .לתירוגלובולין החל מתאריך 9.9.02 הוחלפה השיטה במקרי אי התאמה ניתן לפנות .למעבדה המרכזית Please can you tell me what this means as I am very concerned. I also had an ultrasound of the thyroid which the doctor rold me was showing no signs of cancer. What do you make of the above results ? Many Thanks Philip Angell .
thyroglobulin has no meaning in your case. A thyroid that is enlarged it produces more thyroglobulin/ thyroglobulin is a sign of cancer only in patients whose thyroid was removed and no thyroglobulin should be produced CPK is increase in untreated hypothyroidism it takes time to normalize
Thanks - So no need to worry about cancer ? Just continue with Eltroxin?
