Dear Dr. I have been taking Estcitalopram tablets (10 mg) for about two years- 1 daily as I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks.I am 55 years old and want to know whether this tablet is addictive and can affect the memory negatively in the long run. Are there any other side effects I should be concerned about? Thanks

Escitalopram is not addictive and escitalopram administration does not affect memory Side effect : I recommend to read the patient package insert.
