Babies fever

Hello My eleven months baby got fever in the last two days. His temp is around 39.3 AND no other symptomps. I gave him some acamoli , which i prefer not to. My Q is what can it be if there are not any other syptomps, just the fever. Generaly very healthy AND I am still breastfeeding, so he hardly eats any solids the last two days, but on the breast a lot. Can read Hebrew Toda

Hi, It can be alot of things, AND 39.3 by babies is not rare... most likely it is a virus which causes loss of apetite, fever for 3-4 days OR even longer. I wuld just to be on the safe side take him to the doctor to check if there is something wrong which you can't see yourself. When babies have fever they eat less (my baby also does it), but make sure he drinks alot - it is important to rehydrate their body because they lose fluids due to the fever. Refua shlema ! Miri
