BUMBO Baby Seat

hi, I live in the US. I just registered my 4 months daughter to a day care AND they use the BUMBO Baby Seat even though my child still doesn't sit by her own. I know that in Israel it's not recommended but it looks like that here as soon as the baby can hold his head they put them on this chair.
