MOLLUSCUM IN ADULTS

Dr. Verner Hello, I hope you do not mind my writing to you in English. I'm currently suffering from a skin disease by the name of Molluscum Cont. in the genital region. I've been suffering with this for over 7 months now and I'm extremely worried despite the fact that doctors have told me that it does eventually clear up. I'm so miserable that I've begun to lose hope that it will ever go away. I have a few questions that I'd very much appreciate if you'd take the time to answer. Please Doctor Verner, be totally truthful with me, have there been cases in which people (adults) have not gotten rid of this disease?I'm terribly itchy and even the freezing and burning treatments have brought absolutely no relief and the sores just keep on erupting. This disease has caused me so much discomfort, frustration and sorrow, I've even thought of ending my life it has been so bad. Will I ever be able to enjoy the pleasures of sex again? You should also know that I've been tested twice for HIV and for additional STDs and everthing came out NEGATIVE. Please Doctor, what kind of prognosis is there for me with this disease after having suffered for 7 months? Thank you for your time, Vered
