Hello doctor my husbend got hepattis b 2 weeks ago. his billy rubin level is 27. i got 2 shots alrady and need to get anothe 2 my question is if there is any possibility that i can get the desease even if i got the shots and what is the risk for the futue regarding him rhanks for your help Shira

Hello Shira, Most adults who are acutely infected with Hepatitis B recovers spontanously. If your antibody level is adequate(i.e > 10 IU)- it is unlikely that you will be infected. Regardless, you can get your 3rd shot today. All the best Efy
