hi dr!! i am writing from canada..i have a pain in the lymph nodes in my left armpit..i saw a doctor and he told me that i have an infection...that cause the lymph node to swell and to be painfull..anyway it is alrady one month and a half!!! that they are big and painfull...sometimes it disapears but it always retuns!!! what can it b? i must say that there is a pain in the bones under as well...can it b something serious i am having a headeache as well sometimes in the left side...what can it be thank you avi
Hello Avi, (A lot of diseases- only some of them are inectious (e.g toxoplasmosis, cat scratch etc can cause sweeling and pain in lymph nodes. You should undergo evaluation by blood test first, and if needed- also by a biopsy. All the best Efy
