Blood Test/CMV IgG Positive

Good evening Doctor, I'm a new immigrant in Israel. Last week I had an acute pharyngitis and my doctor asked me to make blood test. The results unexpectedly showed CMV IgG 244.5 AU/ml Positive, CMV IgM Negative, EBNA IgG (POS), EBV Past infection. Could you explain to me what it means and what measures I should take. Thank you for your attention to my problem.

Hello Grace, There is nothing unexpected in your results: They show that like most of the population you had been infected in the past with both CMV and EBV and that there is no evidence of current infection with either of them. All the best Efy
