If you need to be in sunlight, wear sunscreen, a hat, and clothing that covers your skin. Check your skin regularly for any new growths or changes in moles, freckles, bumps, or birthmarks. Pay attention to your face, neck, ears, scalp, chest, arms, hands, legs, feet, genital area, and between your butt cheeks. Call your healthcare provider if you notice anything that looks questionable.
