אני ישראלי שגר בארה״ב. להלן הפענוח: CLINICAL HISTORY: 45 years of age, Male, Lower midline abdominal pain. COMPARISON: Ultrasound abdomen 9/15/2017 PROCEDURE COMMENTS: CT of the abdomen and pelvis was performed following administration of 120 mL Omnipaque 350 IV contrast. Oral contrast was not administered prior to the examination. Dose information: Based on a 32 cm phantom, the estimated radiation dose (CTDIvol [mGy]) for each series in this exam is 11.75. The estimated cumulative dose (DLP [mGy-cm]) is 618. FINDINGS: Lower thorax: Normal. Liver and biliary tree: Hypoattenuation of the liver parenchyma compatible with fatty infiltration. Biliary system is within normal limits. Gallbladder: Normal. Spleen: Normal. Pancreas: Normal. Adrenal glands: Normal. Kidneys and ureters: Normal. Gastrointestinal tract: Colonic diverticulosis with a focal short segment of proximal sigmoid colon which exhibits marked submucosal edema and pericolonic inflammatory stranding. There is no definite pericolonic fluid collection or definite pneumoperitoneum. No dilated loops of bowel to suggest obstruction. The appendix is normal. Peritoneal cavity: No free fluid. There is mild haziness of the central mesentery associated with several small, subcentimeter lymph nodes measuring up to 7 mm in short axis. Bladder: Normal. Prostate and seminal vesicles: Normal. Vasculature: Patent. Lymph nodes: No pathologically enlarged lymph nodes. Abdominal wall: Normal. Musculoskeletal: No acute osseous abnormality. Mild degenerative changes of the visualized spine. Impression: 1. Findings compatible with acute, uncomplicated proximal sigmoid diverticulitis. 2. Haziness of the central mesentery associated with several subcentimeter lymph nodes are nonspecific findings, although favored to be benign given lack of lymphadenopathy. 3. Fatty infiltration of the liver.
