מה המשמעות של תוצאות הבדיקה ומה עלי לעשות Mri of the lumbar spine was performed without contrast. Degenerative decreased T2 disc signal is seen involving the 2/3, 3/4 and L5/S1 Disc. A hypointense T1 and T2 signal is seen within the mid aspect of the L2 Body , questionably representative of a sclerotic focus. Schmorl's nodes are noted at T11/12 Bulging of the 2/3 disc is seen mildly narrowing the foramina. Bulging of the 3/4 disc is seen mildly narrowing the foramina and with a right Foraminal protrusion touching the exiting right L3 nerve root. Mild bulging of the L5/S1 disc is seen touching the bilateral exiting L5 Nerve roots and associated with a linear hyperintense T2 signal at its Bilateral foraminal aspect, suggestive of an annular fissure. Questionable L5 spondylolysis is noted and if clinically needed , A CT in this region can be performed for further bone evaluation.
