Hello! My daughter has atopic that blooms in Autumn season, which makes september-november are the most hard months of the year. So far "Atopic cool", a cream I purchased in Israel 10 months ago, workes perfect - I used it few times a week both on face and body. recently heard it contains steroids, so moved to "atopic clear" which DOESNT work for her at all. what should I do? will my daughter have sign on her skin later in life cause I used atopic cool on her skin? thanks a head, Efi
atopic clear contain steroids as well steroid is very good and eficient treatment for atopic dermatitis, and a patient can use it' if it is not used regularly. There will be no pskin problem because of the use of atopic cool in the past. If there is no improvement by using these creams, there are diferent possibilities, like calcineurin inhibitors topical treatment and phototherapy. do you use antihistamines?. you should contact your physicean.
I was trying to aporoach my daughter skin problem without the use of steroids/histamines and other non natural/long affect medicine. I was sure atopic cool has no steroids therfore we used it almost regulary. And as I mantioned before, this is the Ichi Ichy season and I find myself treating her with this cream almost everyday. I use A-derma cream to massage her body after bath every night but I can see that this year it is worst than last year. the non-steroids options are very limited where we live (Osaka-Japan). and I find myself out of ways to help her. I work with kids and see how their skin inside their elbows and knees turned black and old after using steroids. Atopic is very very common here . if just for the Autumn season I use Atopic cool will it affect her skin later in life? is the new cream they offer now better (honestly nonsteroids?) thanks for your help Efi
שלום, על המשחה מצויין בפירוש שהיא אינה מכילה סטרואידים, ואנחנו משתמשים בה עם התינוקת שלנו בת חצי שנה כמשחת "שימור" בתקופות הרגיעה בין ההתםרצויות, האם לדבריך היא כן מכילה סטרואידים?? תודה רעות
