four years after total hip replacement right leg six months before total knee replacement complaint for the last 10 years of lower back pains last 5 years complaint that left hip and knee are giving pain that is almost impossible to live with. blood test 2010 showed psa of 14.6 resultant C.T showed that I have three slipped discs 1 to 2 2to 3 3 to4 4to 5 of which two are pressing on some thing if I under stand correctly it is nerves as I am scheduled for a brachatherepy operation what can I do about my back. sorry about writing in English but you can answer in Hebrew thanks in advance Kenneth
Assuming the findings on the CT imaging explain your back and leg pain-the options begin with physiotherapy', include injections in the pain clinic, and sometimes even surgery -if the other treatments do not help. But the first point that needs to be cleared is whether or not that excruciating leg pain is emanating from your back. My suggestion-go see a spine specialist and have someone thoroughly examine you and your imaging-and accordingly-draw up a treatment plan that best fits your condition. Hag sameakh
