What is prosthodontics? It is one of the fields in dentistry that deals with restoring function and esthetics of the masticatory system. A prosthodontist is an individual that who has been trained in post doctoral studies, to treat complicated cases.

Currently the main issue in prosthodontics is implants and esthetics. Implants are the treatment of choice in cases of missing teeth. The questions that arise are: number of implants needed to restore numerous missing teeth, longevity of implants, type of restoration on top of the implants and more.

We all want a perfect smile. There are several ways to achieve thus, beginning with orthodontics, laminate veneers, porcelain crowns and all-porcelain crowns. Does it suit everyone? Are there any complications?
